Cecilia Alaniz (FUOCCO), graduated from Quilmes National University with a bachelor’s degree in Electroacoustic Composition, DJ and producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Desde 2013, comenzó a relacionarse con los sonidos electrónicos llegando a desarrollar una firma personal que va desde el Nu Disco al Indie Dance y Techno. Ha mantenido actividad constante desde esa fecha tocando en bares, fiestas, clubes y discotecas del underground de Argentina, Chile, Uruguay y Perú. Se destaca su rol en producción radial que comienza también en 2013 con el “Fuocco’s Radioshow” (Frantik Radio, UK) y el “DISC JOCKEY CLUB” (RADIO EMLA, ARG). Durante 2015 tuvo una residencia en el mítico bar Levitar, formó parte de ciclos tales como: “Back UP” en Niceto Club entre otros. En 2016, comenzó su residencia en “Submerged Buenos Aires”, donde trabajo durante tres años y medio como DJ y productora junto al DJ pionero nacional Diego Cid. Hizo también su debut en el club Bahrein tocando junto a Sergio Athos y Brian Gros.
En 2017, inició junto a Dan Chelger su primer ciclo: “FLÜGE” en el bar Omm en Palermo, ciclo que también tuvo su programa radial (8bitzradio, AR). En 2018 ingresa en Apical Records como DJ residente del sello. Comienza también “FuoccoFest”, donde busca dar espacio y generar un encuentro con el público que no esté regido por un único estilo musical. En 2019, pudo compartir escenario con Adicta, banda de sus favoritas personales; formó parte de la Marcha del Orgullo LGBTIQ+ de Buenos Aires teniendo la posibilidad de que más de 500 mil personas puedan escucharla y bailarla. Cerró el año con el lanzamiento de un track producido junto al DJ argentino Underwood “What U gonna do”, editado en el V. A. #3 de Apical Records. Durante el 2020 y el 2021, realizó algunas apariciones en vivo para diferentes plataformas web. Y como las restricciones se lo permitieron empezó a tocar en diferentes bares y locales. En 2022 ingresó a “Ala Norte” como profesora en el curso de DJ inicial enfocado en mezcla con software.
A fines de 2022 realizó su primer tour por la provincia de Santa Cruz, Argentina. A lo largo de este año, se volcó a la producción musical con un dos remixes próximos a salir en sellos argentinos. Es creadora y residente de “TECHNO BEBAS”, ciclo de eventos electrónicos que produce junto a Carla Crespo y Camila Pozner. Ha compartido cabina con artistas como Eddie Leader, Brian Gros, Club Rayo, Rubens, Fabrizzio Alarcon, Maxi Aubert, Luis Zerillo, Brigado Crew, Dany Nijensohn, Carlos Alfonsín, Romina Cohn, May Mc Laren, Diego Roca, Diego Cid. Es versátil, inquieta, perseverante y apasionada. Y sabe que como entretenedora su misión es prender fuego la pista de baile. ̸ Since 2013, she began to relate to electronic sounds and has developed a personal signature that goes from Nu Disco to Indie Dance and Techno music. She has maintained constant activity playing in bars, parties, clubs and discos of the underground of Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Peru. Her role in radio production stands out, which also begins in 2013 with the “Fuocco’s Radioshow” (Frantik Radio, UK) and the “DISC JOCKEY CLUB” (RADIO EMLA, ARG). During 2015 she had a residence at the legendary Levitar bar and was part of cycles such as: Back UP in Niceto Club among others. In 2016, she began her residency in “Submerged Buenos Aires”, where she worked as a DJ and producer with the national pioneer DJ Diego Cid for three and a half years. She also made her debut at Bahrein club playing alongside Sergio Athos and Brian Gros. In 2017, she started her own electronic music series called “FLÜGE” with Dan Chelger at Omm bar in Palermo. It also had its radioshow (8bitzradio, AR). In 2018 she joined Apical Records label as a resident DJ. She also has developed “FuoccoFest”, where she seeks to give space and generate an encounter with the public that is not ruled by a single musical style. In 2019, she was able to share the stage with Adicta, her personal favorite band; she was part of the LGBTIQ + Pride March of Buenos Aires with the chance that more than 500 thousands people could listen to and dance her. She closed the year with the launch of the track produced together with Argentine DJ Underwood “What U gonna do”, published in the V. A. # 3 of Apical Records. During 2020 and 2021, she made a few appaerances live streaming for different web platforms. And as the restrinctions allowed her she started playing at different bars and venues. In 2022, she joined “Ala Norte” as teacher in the initial DJ course focused on mixing with software. At the end of 2022 she made his first tour of the province of Santa Cruz, Argentina.
Throughout this year, she turned to musical production with two remixes soon to be released on Argentine labels. She is creator and resident of “TECHNO BEBAS”, a series of electronic events that she produces together with Carla Crespo and Camila Pozner. She has shared a booth with artists such as Eddie Leader, Brian Gros, Club Rayo, Rubens, Fabrizzio Alarcon, Maxi Aubert, Luis Zerillo, Brigado Crew, Dany Nijensohn, Carlos Alfonsín, Romina Cohn, May Mc Laren, Diego Roca, Diego Cid. She is versatile, restless, persevering and passionate. And she knows that as an entertainer her mission is to set the dance floor on fire.
